TO LIVE OR TO DIE

Well… now here I am sitting in the living room of my house thinking about the life. A lot of people think about it but nobody tries to explain what it really feels. Maybe they feel fear because others people could say: "they are crazy".
Sometimes the life is really hard and some people start to think in the death… but what do you do in this case? Maybe you have had a difficult life where you have suffered so much and now you look at the past and you can see the changes that your life had suffered.
My life has had bad and good moments but this can change in just in one second, the destiny plays a very important role in the life.
What happen if I had an accident and my life could change? I don’t know if I am prepared for this, the most possible answer for this is that I am not prepared.
Sometimes I have thought in the suicide but I haven’t could do it … I hate the pain!!
When everything is black you should try to escape but sometimes is difficult find the exit, you mustn’t loose the hope. Always there is a chance to find the happiness.
When you find equilibrium everything is different, you can see the life of different way, everything is good and problems pass to second place.
Often life doesn’t have sense, everything is same, boring and you aren't interested in anything, well in these cases you should seek for help in your family and friends, they are the best support in difficult moments.
In the other hand death is the end of your life and maybe it’s the start of a different life even of the immortality.
When you have enjoyed your life and you had done everything that you could do, the death is just a step that you should take with calm and harmony necessary.
When you don’t find exit for your problems you just should think that you aren't the only person that suffer and always there is someone that more suffers that you.

Finally life is like a roller coaster that has highs and lows ...that's all!! you just should enjoy it !!

" MAGO DE OZ "

Mago de oz is a spanish band based in the heavy metal music.

This band was created by Jesús María Hernández ( Txus Di Fellatio ) in May of 1988 in a Madrid's North Zone's place called Virgen María Begoña.

The project originally was going to take the name of Transilvania like to tribute to Iron Maiden, but finally Txus decided to call to this band with the name of Mago de Oz in honor to his love for the cinema.

In accordance with this decision Txus said: " I chose this name because, like in the movie, the life is a way of yellow tiles, in which we walk looking for our dreams in company of others ".

This band is formed by 9 members :Txus Di Fellatio ( drummer and composer); José Andrea ( singer ); Carlitos (guitarist); Frank (guitarist); Mohamed (violinist); Fernando Ponde de León ( flautist and pianist); Sergio Cisneros "Kiskillas" ( pianist); Jorge Salán (guitarist) and Peri ( bassist).

The discs most known about Mago de Oz are the following ones:

  • Mago de Oz (1994) reediting in 1999.

  • Jesus de Chamberi (1996)

  • La bruja (1997)

  • La leyenda de la mancha (1998). Based on the book " El Quijote de la Mancha".

  • Finisterra (2000)

  • Folktergeist (2002)

  • Gaia (2003)

  • Belfast (2004)

  • Gaia II La Voz Dormida (2005)

One of the things that more called my attention was the instance of that from his third disc the works would be illustrated by the same man: Gaboni (a friend of Mohamed). He always leaves some secret message in his graphs.

I love this band because they could join the Celtic music with the heavy metal, in such a way that they achieved a perfect music for my ears.

I love listening to the flute and the violins in combination with the guitars and José's voice.

I fell very good when I listen to the Mago de Oz's music.... :)

Ernest Hemingway

Ernest Hemingway was born on 21 July 1899, in Oak Park, Illinois. He Was the second of six children and his family was strict and very religious. At school, he was good at English and wrote for the school newspaper. He graduated in 1917, but he didn't go to college. He went to Kansas City and worked as a journalist for the Star newspaper.
Hemingway was fascinated by war. He had wanted to become a soldier, but couldn't because he had poor eyesight.
Many of his books were about war.
Hemingway married four times. He suffered from depression and in 1928 his father committed suicide.
In 1954, he survived two planes crashes. In October of the same year he was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature, but he was too ill to receive it in person.
His final years were taken up with health problems and alcohol. He began to lose his memory and he couldn't write any more. On Sunday, 2 July 1961, Hemingway killed himself with a shotgun, just as his father had done before him.
I chose the Hemingway's book called " The Old Man and the Sea ", which was published in 1952, was a much-needed vindication. The novella won the 1953 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and it likely cinched the Nobel Prize for Hemingway in 1954, as it was cited for particular recognition by the Nobel Academy. It was the last novel published in his lifetime.Although the novella helped to regenerate Hemingway’s wilting career, it has since been met by divided critical opinion.
Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea is the simple story of an old Cuban fisherman who undergoes the most difficult struggle of his life.
The novel is filled not only with drama but with the parable of one man's perseverance through the hardest of times.
Th e book shows the courage necessary to get through the triumphs and tragedies that life represented by the sea presents.
Alone on the sea, Santiago (the old man) continuously struggles to find hope in several seemingly hopeless situations. . After hooking the great marlin Santiago realizes he is unable to quickly kill the fish. Yet, throughout the test of endurance between man and fish the old man begins to recognize a bond between he and the marlin, repeatedly referring to it as his brother;
he elaborates,
"Now we are joined together and have been since noon. And no one to help either one of us" . When the sharks mutilate the dead marlin hanging off the side of the skiff as Santiago struggles to sail home, the old man fights them off as if they were attacking him.
Only when the marlin's carcass has been entirely eaten away does Santiago give up, knowing he "was beaten now finally and without remedy" .
Well I didn't like this novel because I didn't understand it, maybe because I read it very fast and I didn't matter undertand about what it was.
